Plot summary : The main character is a normal Japanese male, Ken Kubo, living quite happily with his girlfriend Yoshiko and being a member of his college's tennis team, until he meets one of his former friends from high school, Tanaka. After Tanaka brings him into his circle of friends, Kubo soon makes the wish to become the Otaking, the King of all the otaku. He manages to create his own model kits, open shops, and even build a factory in China. Later, he loses it all when one of his rivals takes control of his enterprise with Tanaka's unwitting aid. But after Kubo and Tanaka make peace, teaming up with hard-working artist Misuzu, Kubo and friends successfully take over the anime industry with a magical girl show, "Misty May". Once they have reached the peak of their ambitions, Ken and Tanaka create Otakuland, the equivalent of Disneyland for otaku Many years later, Ken and Tanaka return to Otakuland in a post-apocalyptic submerged Japan and find its central structure, a giant robot, converted into a functional spaceship piloted by their old otaku friends. Miraculously rejuvenated, they fly off to space in search of the planet of Otaku.

A true story that has remained largely untold, the Britannic was one of largest passenger liners in the world when it sunk, and the circumstances surrounding its demise are just as mysterious as those of the Titanic, as it sustained damage almost identical to that of its sister ship. Though it has never been discovered exactly what caused the Britannic to sink, the film is based on historical evidence and imagines that the liner's demise was the doing of German spies on board the boat. Along with this, the film follows some serious problems that a budding romance between a young Briton and German brings on the couple, as their countries are in the midst of fighting WWI on opposing sides. Britannic, an historical drama, provides the first look of its kind at the little known story of this ill-fated ship.

Because of this, he lost his career as an airline pilot and the chance to marry his fiancee Ryoko Tsugumo. Now, Shin has three choices in order to leave Area 88 and return to Japan: serve the mercenary group for three years, earn US$1.5 million, or desert the base, risking imminent death.
