Plot summary : Being a lone young boy in the 'hood" is dangerous and unpleasant. This is what Max experiences when he fools a gang of local toughs who cornered him at school. The gang finds out that the key he gave them is of no value in committing a robbery, and they chase him through the streets of his neighborhood, bent on revenge. He tries to escape by slipping into the open door of an old warehouse, but they follow him there, too. While running from them through aisles filled with all kinds of stuff, he bumps into an old boom box. By doing that, he manages to release Kazaam, a genie who has been held captive for thousands of years. In order to stay free, Kazaam must give Max three wishes.

One day, a client of Natsuko in the night-club tells to her that he saw Fusako in the Red Light District. Natsuko that is pregnant decides to seek her sister out in the prostitution area. Will she find Fusako ?

Plot summary : The film, in two parts, begins in 1876 when the Terry-Gibbon column relieves the remnants of the 7th Cavalry that had survived the Battle of the Little Bighorn. They discover Custer's battalion has been annihilated, and the film 'flashes back' and tells Custer's story from the point of view/narrative of his wife, Elizabeth, beginning with the Kansas campaign of the mid-1860s. Concurrently, the Indian perspective is told through the narrative of Kate Bighead, a young Cheyenne woman, who encountered Custer on several occasions. Kate Bighead's narrative is also used to describe events like the Fetterman Massacre and the Battle of Washita River, as is Elizabeth Custer's, to provide a balanced point of view.

Plot summary : Hye-gyeong places the eldest daughter, Sun-gyeong, and her husband on a wagon and leaves to seek refuge. In Daegu, Captain Kim is hospitalized while Hye-gyeong earns a living by being a street peddler. One day, she meets Mr. Joe who sells products near her stall. Mr. Joe, who was orphaned during the war, asks Hye-gyeong to be a surrogate sister to him, and the two quickly become close. Mr. Joe gets a house and suggests that Hye-gyeong live with him. Hye-gyeong, who has come to love Mr. Joe, is conflicted between him and her husband. One day when her husband comes for a visit, he witnesses Mr. Joe and his wife together and becomes furious, returning to the hospital. When Hye-gyeong visits him in the hospital, he begs her not to leave him, and tells her he cannot live without her. Hye-gyeong puts an end to her relationship with Mr. Joe and goes to Seoul to be with her family. Once there, Hye-gyeong and her husband establish a home for war widows and their children who have nowhere else to go. Their new hopes are dashed when Sun-gyeong dies in a traffic accident. With Hye-gyeong fasting and bedridden in grief, it seems as if the war widows will have to seek shelter elsewhere. But Hye-gyeong collects her.
