Plot summary : Among the terrified refugees jamming the roads out of Paris in 1940 are Kitty de Mornay, a rich American divorced from her French husband, and her companion Emmyline (Emmy) Quayle. A German patrol orders their car back to Paris and, en route, they stop at an inn where they find a wounded RAF flyer, Lieutenant Gray. They hide him in the luggage compartment of their car. While attempting to repair a flat tire, they are accosted by Gestapo Captain Kurt von Webber. He drives them to Emmy's apartment. Later, with the help of Kitty's estranged husband, Andre de Mornay - a member of the French underground movement - Kitty and Emmy smuggle Lt. Gray out of Paris to safety. Since they now have means of getting to unoccupied France, they contact a priest who is harboring many RAF fliers. Funeral processions are allowed across the border unchallenged by the German sentries, and Kitty and Emmy stage one in which their RAF men pose as mourners. Von Weber suspects the women, and he plants a spy in Emmy's flat.

Plot summary : Once, the King of Martial Arts wrote a manual of all skills but, in order to prevent it being held by one person he split the manual into two parts - one holding all the even numbered pages and the other holding the odd pages. Currently half the manual is held by the Winged Tiger Deng Fei (a villainous expert in a technique which is almost like flying) and the other is in the possession of Master Yin (better known as the King of Hades). In order to obtain both copies for himself, Yin has arranged for his sister Yin Cai Fa to marry Deng Fei in return for his half of the manual. Unwilling to let one man hold all the power and keen to share the manual with the world, the Chief of Mount Hua and the heads of the martial arts schools send Flying Hero Guo Jiou Ru to obtain both copies. The plan is simple, kill the Winged Tiger to get his copy and then Guo Jiou Ru will use his power of mimicry and similar fighting style to impersonate Deng Fei and infiltrate the Yin home in order to get the other half. Sounds impossible and indeed even a blind man (You Ming) can tell something is off when Guo Jiou Ru turns up claiming to be the Winged Tiger - but can he pull it off ?

When the invalid wife of the salesman Lars Thorwald vanishes, Jeff believes the man might have killed his wife. He tells his concerns to Lisa and to his nurse Stella and the women agree with his observations, but his friend Detective Thomas J. Doyle finds reasonable explanation for each remark. However, Lisa decides to go further in her investigation, getting closer to the suspect.
