As Kate and Sebastian spend more time together, she sees that beneath his cold exterior is a good person who does charity work out of the public eye, and they start growing fond of each other. Kate succeeds in finding a match for Sebastian before the deadline. Only afterwards does she realize, painfully, that she has fallen in love with Sebastian herself.
